About the Artist

Hi, I’m Alex, owner of Alex Goddard Art. I’m a pet portrait and animal artist specialising in acrylic paint. My mission is to create unique pieces of art that celebrate our love of animals.

I paint from my home studio in West Sussex in the UK. I live with my husband and young family, who keep me busy the majority of the time. I love all things creative and found my passion with animal and pet paintings. A few of my other loves include strong coffee, dark chocolate and forest walks.

All of my artwork is hand painted (nothing digital here). Each piece is original with unique expressions of line, colour and texture. You will be able to see individual brushstrokes and even to smell the paint and varnish… what could be better than that.
